TeatroStageFest:
The idea for TeatroStageFest began in 2003, when Mayor Michael Bloomberg appointed José W. Fernandez as a Commissioner on the NYC Latin Media & Entertainment Commission to bring together the many Hispanic theaters that are part of New York City's cultural life. He joined with Susana Tubert, an established theater director, to found the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc.(LITF/NY) to achieve this goal.

Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña:
The Instituto de Cultura Puertorriquña is a government institution whose responsibility is to establish the cultural politics of the Gobierno del Estado Libre Asociado of Puerto Rico. The Instituto was created from the Law 89, on June 21, 1955, with the proposition of contributing to the conservation, promotion, enrichment and sharing of the cultural values of Puerto Rican towns as well as to achieve the most extensive and profound knowledge and appreciation of themselves.

Archivo General de Puerto Rico:
El Archivo General de Puerto Rico is an institution that by disposition of Law 5, approved on December 8th, 1955, “In order to establish a Conservation and Disposition Program of Public Documents,” functions as official depository of every public document transferred by virtue of the mentioned law. It is adhering to the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña and is the major repository of historical documents on the Island. It contains around 80,000 feet of cubicles of documents including: text, graphics (plans, maps, drawings), printings (newspapers, magazines), movies, and tapings in various forms.

City Lore:
City Lore was founded in 1986 to produce programs and publications that convey the richness of New York City's cultural heritage. Increasingly our many efforts embrace national audiences as well. Our staff includes folklorists, historians, anthropologists, and ethnomusicologists, all of whom specialize in the creation of programs and materials for public education and enjoyment.
