Exposing, Developing and Celebrating the Arts to/for the Community
The ACP develops and produces performances, exhibitions, recitals, conferences, concerts, festivals (Puerto Rico Fest: BORIMIX), special Holiday Celebrations (El Día de los Reyes; Hispanic & Puerto Rican Heritage Months Celebrations), workshops, etc. for schools & communities. It also functions as a producer and incubator agency for young Latino artists and new art/theatre companies that are seeking opportunities. Overall, SEA’s ACP provides exposure to audiences of all art forms.

Puerto Rico Fest: BORIMIX a month long Lower East Side gathering during November –Puerto Rican Heritage Month- of Puerto Rican Artists working in theatre, dance, music,and the visual arts. Last year’s festival included the musical group Tato Torres & Yerbabuena! Rums of Puerto Rico and El Diario-La Prensa were our festival sponsors. www.puertoricofest.org

Due to SEA's participation in the International Theatre Festival of the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña in San Juan this November, we will not be able to present SEA's Puerto Rico Fest 2006. Stay tuned for 2007!



El Día de los Reyes (3 Kings Day)
The most important Latin American holiday for children is celebrated every year at Teatro SEA. Thousands of children from the community are invited to meet the 3 Kings and receive a free gift.
